Facilities
Our Kitchen......
We love to cook so you will find everything you need to create a gourmet feast in our kitchen! There is crockery and cutlery aplenty, special coloured plates, bowls and mini cutlery for the little people, an ice-cream maker (obviously!), electric beater, fresh coffee making pots, lovely bowls for salads, baking sets, outdoor eating crockery, picnic plates, oyster shuckers....etc etc! There is also an electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and freezer.
Our Bedrooms......
On the first floor is our master bedroom, decorated in floral tones, and featuring an oak window seat that overlooks green fields, and a white iron double bedstead. There is plenty of hanging space, a large chest of drawers, a dressing table and bedside table.
The second floor houses our twin bedroom, built into the roof and decorated in the colours of our daughters' favourite Neopolitan ice-cream! Here you will find twin iron single bedsteads, a chest of drawers and some hanging space. The dormer window looks over green fields and trees, and the room is bright and airy, and also features wonderful night lights if needed. Duvets and pillows are provided. Linen is not. You will need double size bedding for the master bedroom and two lots of single bedding for the upstairs room .
Our Bathrooms......
Downstairs we have a shower room with a power shower, perfect for using directly from the beach! There is also a washer/dryer and heated towel rail in this room and space for boots, shoes and coats. The family bathroom upstairs is very contemporary featuring a bath with an over-head square drench shower and hand shower. There is a heated towel rail plus airing cupboard space in case beach stuff needs drying and it rains! Two hand towels are provided per let. You will need to bring beach and bath towels.
For Children......
The upstairs bedroom has night-lights especially for younger children. These are on a seperate switch so can be used as required. There are also a supply of childrens books, DVD's, and games for use during your visit. In the kitchen you will find plastic plates, cups and bowls for younger children and smaller cutlery. For guests that visit in colder times of year there is a supply of baking equipment perfect for making cupcakes! To the rear of the cottage is a stone built barn which houses play equipment for children under 12 plus there is space to store surf boards etc.
Other......
Books, DVD's, Cookery Books, BT Wireless Broadband, Wood Burning Stove (a small supply of logs will be supplied in winter months). Our phone works on an honesty box policy due to the lack of phone signal. Please do not ruin this for future guests.
Outside......
To the front is a small patio and garden, equipped with table chairs and barbecue. To the rear is private parking for two cars and our stone built barn, The Parlour. As well as using the childrens play equipment, this is the perfect space for storing surf boards, buckets and spades etc.
